    One won't learn much about lean just using a kanban board. One will learn a lot about using a kanban board (and much more) studying lean. Learn fundamentals, not artifacts.

    7 hours of Zoom calls/day. Constant notifications. No work/life balance. We’ve missed the greatest opportunity in history to rewrite the rules of work, and twisted it into a dystopian Zoomscape - staring at our own faces all day. We can do better.

    One possibility is simply that my first response got me placed in a database shared by these firms and they are all using similar cold-email tools to spam. Even so, super sketchy behaviour and should be called out nonetheless.

    Now a couple days later I got 3 more nearly identical inquiries, clearly automated, 1 by email and two by linked in. All of them in a single day and this time each one from a different firm name.

    Afterwards I received another identical request from another person at this firm (Third Bridge). I was already suspicious and no I was curious what sort of scheme was going on here. I replied to that one noting the previous inquiry and got no response...

    I spoke to someone on the phone, answered some legitimate and relevant seeming screening questions and they said that they would be in touch if their client was interested in working with me in more detail. A day or so later they followed up and said the call fell through...
