If only we had a cheap & reliable way of making pollution-free electricity on tiny amounts of land, solving climate change while lifting everyone out of poverty would be so much easier... I know, I know — I'm a dreamer

My son has parked his bike by this lamppost just about every day for the last year. This morning, this sticker had appeared. Absolutely made our day. People can be so brilliant. Thank you, whoever did it 😊

OMG. If you've ever shopped at NCIX, consider changing your credit card. If you want to know what bad security practices look like, read the article. Kudos and 👏 to Travis for reporting on this.

First 1e6 integers, represented as binary vectors indicating their prime factors, and laid out using the sparse matrix support in 's UMAP dimensionality reduction algorithm. This is from a 1000000x78628 (!) binary matrix. Very pretty structure emerges.

I put Windows 95 into an Electron app that now runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux. It's a terrible idea that works shockingly well. I'm so sorry. Go grab it here:

Pro-tip for open space session facilitators tomorrow: have a both a topic and a set of questions to discuss. Start with intros and the topic context, then ask your first question to drive conversation. When the conversation gets stale, ask your next question. Rinse and repeat

Pitching a session on Saturday? A few things to note: we have experienced facilitators to help you prepare or run a session, all rooms have projectors (HDMI, VGA) and most whiteboards, it helps to nominate a note-taker (whiteboard) and someone to track speaking order / airtime.
